Bachelors Degree In Islamic Studies
The psychology department of ALIM University is going to conduct Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. The students who have cleared intermediate or equivalent to 12 years of education are eligible to apply for this degree. The course is designed to equip the students with the required knowledge and skills which would assist them to take an early start of their professional careers. The main objectives of the program are to provide a strong theoretical basis about the principles, history, and research approaches in Psychology. The students will be well-equipped with conceptual tools and scientific knowledge about human existence. One of the most important objectives of this discipline is to make clear how psychological principles can be utilized to explain and understand the dynamics of social and psychological issues.
The course title consists of Introduction to Computing, Economics, English Comprehension, Introduction to Psychology, Pakistan studies, Islamic studies, Ethics (for non-Muslims), Abnormal Psychology, History, and Systems of Psychology, Introduction to Sociology, and others. The course of study aims to train the students in foundational psychological theories and practices, human behavior, mental health conditions, and cognitive processes. Graduates of this degree may work in human resources, business, sales, education as they apply the skills of analytical, communication, and critical thinking alongside the knowledge of their degree. The Bachelor’s degree in Psychology offers a range of coursework in the Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences. It opens up various professional opportunities such as business, law, criminal justice, and journalism. Graduates may also work as career counselors, rehabilitation caseworkers, and psychiatric technicians. This program trains its learners to develop the skills to express empathy to others, to evaluate and understand the best needs of clients, and to work in the best interest of those around them. Subsequently, many Psychology graduates enter into teaching, market analysis, and customer service.
